Job summary

The University of Sydney invites applications for a Full-time fixed term HR Consultant (Advisory) to support a broad range of client groups with practical HR guidance.

Reporting into the Senior HR Consultant and working with HR Partners and COEs, you will deliver operational HR advice, co-design initiatives, and drive improvements across the employee lifecycle in a dynamic university setting.

Qualifications

• Significant HR generalist experience in a complex, client-focused environment.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to drive projects and decisions through to completion.
• Experience delivering HR solutions across the employee lifecycle.
• Experience with Workday HRIS and ServiceNow is advantageous.
• Demonstrated HR practices with commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Operationalise, support, and coordinate key people and culture initiatives.
• End-to-end project management of key HR initiatives.
• Provide day-to-day employee lifecycle advice and guidance to line management.
• Develop client group metrics and presentations to support HR initiatives.
• Promote employment programs aligned with HR strategies.
• Collaborate with functional specialists to present HR as a united front.
