Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking an experienced HR Consultant (Advisory) to provide HR advice and support across professional and academic client groups. You will work closely with HR Partners and COE to deliver effective HR solutions in a growing workforce.

This full-time fixed-term role runs until July 2027, offering a supportive team, opportunities for growth, and a range of benefits, including flexible working options and a strong focus on people and culture initiatives.

Qualifications

• Significant HR generalist experience in a complex client-focused environment.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to drive projects and decisions through to completion.
• Experience delivering HR solutions across the employee lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Workday HRIS and ServiceNow is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advice, information, guidance and support across client groups.
• Support end-to-end project management of key HR initiatives.
• Provide day-to-day lifecycle HR advice and guidance to line management (including performance management).
• Develop client group metrics and presentations to support HR initiatives.
• Promote employment programs aligned with HR and business strategies.
