The University of Sydney invites applications for an HR Consultant (Advisory) to provide HR advice, guidance and support across client groups, reporting to the Senior HR Consultant. This full-time fixed-term position until July 2027 sits in a large, supportive team with opportunities for growth and development within the University, and offers a base salary of $117,133 plus 17% superannuation.

Qualifications

• Significant HR generalist experience in a complex client-focused environment.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to drive projects and decisions through to completion.
• Experience with HRIS systems (Workday) and case-management (ServiceNow) would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advice, information, guidance, and support across client groups.
• Support end-to-end project management of key HR initiatives.
• Deliver day-to-day employee lifecycle guidance to line management.
• Develop client group metrics and presentations to support HR initiatives.
