Job summary

edlenergy is seeking a Business Development Manager in Brisbane to drive new business growth and expand current services across the portfolio. You will identify opportunities, build strategic partnerships, lead projects and negotiate with clients and partners to convert opportunities into value.

You will manage relationships with corporate, government and private stakeholders, conduct market analysis, develop strategy and present compelling business cases to Executives.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, technical or scientific discipline with strong marketing sense gained through relevant work experience in infrastructure, energy or carbon markets.
• Proven financial modelling and valuation experience and skills.
• Market assessment, risk analysis and strategic planning.
• Complex contract negotiation, administration and management.
• Experience of dealing with legal agreements and liaising with legal advisors.
• Relationship Management skills and proven Commercial and Business Development track record.
• Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support strategic market studies and industry trend analysis.
• Develop energy projects in target market segments.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with large corporate, government and private stakeholders.
• Act as primary contact for growth accounts and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Identify and research potential clients and evaluate opportunities aligned with the growth strategy.
• Develop and execute outreach strategies to generate leads and present proposals.
• Undertake economic and financial investigations to support investment cases and present to Executives.
