Whites Group is expanding its Industrial Plastics division and seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to identify new opportunities, develop strategic customer relationships, and accelerate growth. You will report to the National Sales Manager and collaborate with the Executive Team to drive sustainable sales across priority sectors.

Based in Melbourne, Sydney or Albury, you’ll lead growth strategies, engage with manufacturing, marketing, sourcing, and service teams, and participate

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in a business development or similar commercial role.
• Experience in Industrial Plastics or related industries preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical capabilities.
• Proficient in CRM systems and data-driven sales activities.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across Industrial Plastics markets.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with key customers.
• Develop tailored commercial proposals to meet customer needs.
• Achieve sales revenue and gross profit targets.
• Provide market intelligence and feedback to support decisions.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor on Industrial Plastics products.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Marketing, Products & Sourcing, Customer Service, and Executive stakeholders.
• Support trade shows, industry events and market development initiatives.
