Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Flame and Gas Business Development Manager to drive growth across Australia and New Zealand through solution selling, stakeholder engagement, and channel partner development. You will work with end users, EPCs, consultants, distributors, and internal teams to identify opportunities and deliver sustainable business results.

You will collaborate across technical and commercial teams to shape solutions, lead strategic pursuits, and manage channel partner growth and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, technical sales, or account management within industrial automation or safety systems.
• Experience managing complex opportunities with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience developing channel partners, distributors, or indirect sales networks.
• Strong customer engagement, negotiation, opportunity management, and commercial planning capabilities.
• Willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen relationships with priority end users, EPCs, consultants, system integrators, and channel partners across Australia and New Zealand.
• Engage customers early to understand operational challenges, technical requirements, and business objectives.
• Collaborate with technical specialists and commercial teams to design and position effective Flame and Gas solutions.
• Lead strategic pursuits, customer presentations, proposals, and commercial negotiations for key opportunities.
• Own and execute the ANZ channel partner growth strategy, including joint business planning, partner development, and performance management.
