Job summary

ICC Sydney is seeking an Account Manager - Exhibitions to partner with the Senior Manager, Business Development International and Exhibitions. You will grow a portfolio of exhibition clients, secure repeat business and drive revenue through strong relationships with organisers and CEOs.

You will lead commercial discussions, identify growth opportunities, manage proposals and contracts, and maintain CRM data to support performance.

Qualifications

• Qualification in business, event management, sales and/or marketing.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Current knowledge of exhibition / business events industry.
• Good understanding of event and venue operational requirements.
• Well organised with attention to detail.
• Ability to negotiate and manage through challenging situations.
• Valid working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of exhibition accounts, driving client retention, revenue growth and repeat business.
• Build trusted relationships with organisers, CEOs and business owners, converting opportunities into confirmed events.
• Lead commercial discussions and negotiations relating to event requirements, space allocation, dates and contracts.
• Identify growth opportunities through strong market knowledge, industry insights and client engagement.
• Maintain strategic relationships with key industry stakeholders, suppliers and partners.
• Prepare and manage proposals, contracts, account plans and performance reports.
• Represent ICC Sydney at industry events, trade shows and client functions to strengthen market presence and generate new opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasting and reporting to support business performance and decision-making.
