Job summary

Cleanaway Waste Management is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager – Business Development to drive new enterprise opportunities in NSW/ACT. You will build a strong pipeline, craft tailored solutions, and lead end-to-end proposals with cross-functional teams.

You’ll engage with senior decision-makers across multi-site customers, translating needs into commercially viable, sustainable waste-management solutions while partnering with Bids & Tenders and Operations to win large accounts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B new-business development across industrial or outsourced services sectors.
• Experience selling to senior stakeholders, including C-suite, and navigating complex decision processes.
• Experience leading tenders, proposals and end-to-end opportunities for large multi-site accounts.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, target and develop new business opportunities.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline from prospecting through to close.
• Develop tailored solutions for complex, multi-site customer needs.
• Lead complex opportunities, proposals and tenders end-to-end.
• Build relationships with stakeholders from operations to C-suite decision-makers.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Operations, Bids & Tenders to deliver winning customer solutions.
• Negotiate commercially sound outcomes balancing customer requirements and sustainable growth.
• Onboard newly won customers and oversee a smooth transition.
