Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Major Contractor Business Development Manager to drive growth with major electrical contractor accounts across South Australia and the Northern Territory. You’ll build strategic relationships and identify major project opportunities while promoting Schneider Electric’s portfolio from early engagement to award, with a specialty in Power distribution offers.

Qualifications

5+ years in Business Development or Key Account Management within electrical, industrial, energy or related sectors.
Experience across South Australia and/or the Northern Territory managing customers and opportunities.
Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure and power distribution or energy management.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute account strategies across major electrical contractor accounts.
Build relationships with estimators, project managers and procurement teams.
Identify and convert project opportunities from early engagement to award.
Position Schneider Electric portfolio on customer projects.
Provide commercial and technical guidance on LV & MV power distribution.
Collaborate with internal sales and product teams to win project strategies.
Participate in tenders and contract negotiations.
Maintain pipeline and forecast through CRM.
Monitor market activity and competitors to identify opportunities.
