Job summary

Schneider Electric in Adelaide is seeking a Design Firm Consultant to drive engagement with strategic design firms and influence the specification of Schneider Electric portfolios. You will build commercial action plans, generate demand, and provide engineering and design support to design firms in a fast-paced market.

The role emphasizes strong relationships and a consultative approach to win in a single-country environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent qualifications in an electrical application field.
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated work experience within the consultant community leveraging your commercial and relationships to build success.
• Experience collaborating with cross functional teams to drive winning strategies to success.
• Technology enthusiast, with a learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute effective commercial action plans to saturate Schneider Electric portfolio through specification and influence targeted strategic Design Firms.
• Generate demand and maintain in-depth knowledge of market dynamics and competitor activity, and provide feedback to the business.
• Support Design Firms in the 'Detailed Design' Process with Application(s) Engineering & Design support.
• Demonstrate high consultative capability to utilize Application-based 'Documented Solutions' in Project Designs.
• Support Design Firms with direct ownership of larger & mid-tier accounts for development.
• Manage key strategic local & global accounts in a pro-active manner and take responsibility for Application Engineering/Design in a single-country environment.
