Job summary

Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, is seeking an Area Sales Representative for the Adelaide region. You will own and grow a defined metro territory across South of Adelaide and occasionally support a regional territory in Mildura, with planned visits.

You will build trusted relationships with electrical wholesalers, contractors, and builders, travel to Mildura as needed, and deliver product demonstrations while using CRM to manage your pipeline.

Qualifications

• Experience in territory sales, account management or trade-related environments.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a defined metro territory across South of Adelaide and Mildura
• Build trusted relationships with electrical wholesalers, contractors, and builders
• Occasionally travel to Mildura to support trade partners
• Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term partnerships
• Deliver engaging product demonstrations and training sessions
• Use CRM to manage pipeline and performance
• Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions and resolve customer challenges
• Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activity, and residential developments
• Represent Clipsal at trade events, customer days, and industry functions
