EnergyAustralia Pty is seeking a Compliance Initiatives Lead to drive governance uplift and strategic regulatory projects. Based in Docklands with a hybrid work pattern (2–3 days in the office per week), this permanent role operates as an individual contributor without people leadership responsibilities.

The role requires leading cross-functional initiatives, shaping governance frameworks, and delivering measurable outcomes in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Formación

• Significant experience leading strategic initiatives and regulatory projects in complex, regulated environments.
• Strong governance, risk, and compliance understanding balancing regulatory and commercial outcomes.
• Proven ability to drive outcomes in ambiguous settings with structure and momentum.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, facilitation and influencing skills across all levels.
• Experience leading multi-stakeholder initiatives with dependencies and risks.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills for executive decision-making.

Responsabilidades

• Lead strategic initiatives and governance uplift programs from concept to implementation.
• Identify and resolve governance and regulatory challenges with practical solutions.
• Design and implement governance frameworks, operating models and controls.
• Mobilise cross-functional teams when priorities emerge or resources are limited.
• Drive stakeholder alignment across business, compliance, legal and senior teams.
• Provide surge capacity for regulatory obligations, risks, reviews and audits.
