EnergyAustralia is seeking a Senior Regulatory Compliance Advisor to provide practical, risk-based compliance guidance for the Customer business. You will support regulatory obligations, change management, breach assessments, and governance across a hybrid role based in Melbourne.

The position requires 7-10 years in compliance or risk advisory, with strong knowledge of energy regulation and stakeholder engagement. Join a team focused on robust compliance outcomes and a culture of integrity.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years’ compliance, legal, or risk advisory experience.
• Extensive experience interpreting and applying regulatory obligations in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of energy regulation or similar regulated industries.
• Clear, risk-based, commercial compliance advice for stakeholders.
• Experience supporting compliance frameworks, audits and governance.

Responsabilités

• Provide expert regulatory compliance advice on obligations, risks, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Support regulatory change implementation, including impact assessments and obligation updates.
• Identify, assess, and elevate compliance risks, driving control improvements.
• Manage and review breach assessments, regulatory reporting, and regulator responses.
• Maintain governance reporting, documentation, and audit readiness.
• Deliver compliance training and guidance to strengthen ownership across the business.
