Job summary

EnergyAustralia is seeking a Senior Regulatory Compliance Advisor to provide practical, risk-based compliance guidance to the Customer business. The role supports regulatory obligations, breach assessments, and regulatory change implementation within a newly created permanent position based at 2MQ.

The role requires 7–10 years in compliance or risk advisory, strong stakeholder engagement, and a deep understanding of energy regulation.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of compliance, legal, or risk advisory experience.
• Experience interpreting and applying regulatory obligations in regulated environments.
• Strong ability to provide clear, risk-based, commercial compliance advice.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert regulatory compliance advice on obligations, risks, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Support regulatory change implementation and obligation updates.
• Identify and upscale compliance risks, driving remediation and governance.
