Grimshaw in Sydney is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to lead growth across architecture and multidisciplinary projects. Based in our Sydney studio, you will develop markets, nurture client relationships, and shape strategies with senior leadership.

The role requires deep knowledge of BD in Australia and NZ, a track record with tenders and pitches, and the ability to work across teams to win opportunities.

Formación

• Degree or equivalent in Business Development or related field.
• Multilingual communication skills to support international work.
• Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities to drive BD initiatives.
• 10+ years in a Business Development Manager role within the commercial/property sector with relevant contacts.
• Experience in pursuing tenders, EOIs, and pitching capabilities.
• Recent and relevant experience in Australia and New Zealand architecture and multidisciplinary sectors with established client relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Strategic Growth Planning: designing long-term business plans and revenue models in consultation with senior management.
• Market & Opportunity Analysis: researching local and international market trends, competitor behaviour, and viability for expansion; delivering BD initiatives across jurisdictions, including APAC.
• Strategic Partnerships: establishing high-value client relationships and B2B collaborations to boost market positioning.
• Performance Forecasting: tracking KPIs, forecasting revenue, and managing budgets for ROI.
• Lead Generation & Prospecting: attending networking events and researching incoming leads.
• Client Relationship Management: maintaining client relationships and supporting client needs.
• Proposal and Contract Drafting: writing proposals, pitching to prospective clients, and reviewing existing projects.
• Cross-Team Collaborations: working with marketing to align daily promotional or launch efforts.
