Job summary

Grimshaw’s Sydney studio is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join our collaborative team. You will translate design concepts into coordinated Revit models, manage linked models, and run BIM documentation for development, approvals, tender and construction.

You will coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors, lead BIM execution planning, and contribute to studio-wide Design Technology standards. Minimum 3 years' Revit/BIM experience and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in architectural drafting, Revit modelling and BIM coordination.
• Sound knowledge of architectural documentation, building materials and Australian codes.
• Proficiency in Revit, BIM coordination, model federation, clash detection and BIM QA/QC processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise architectural plans, elevations, sections, construction details and schedules using Revit.
• Develop architectural models and working drawings under guidance, ensuring consistency across models and drawings.
• Coordinate documentation with consultants, contractors and other BIM models; perform clash detection and QA/QC.
• Manage Revit models, linked models, shared coordinates and model federation for reliable drawing production.
• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans and project information deliverables.
