Job summary

Tank Vision, based in Sydney, seeks a Business Development leader to grow our data centre and water infrastructure pipelines across Australia and the Pacific. You’ll identify major opportunities early, engage with hydraulic, fire, and mechanical consultants, and shape complex water storage solutions with support from engineering and estimating teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development / technical sales within construction, building services, water infrastructure, mechanical, HVAC, industrial, or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of how major construction and infrastructure projects are specified, estimated, and delivered.
• Technically capable / mechanically minded with ability to interpret project scope, drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Drive business growth across data center and large-scale water infrastructure sectors, focusing on new business and key account development.
• Conduct market analysis, pipeline tracking, and forecasting to inform sales strategy and targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with key construction and utility stakeholders (builders, asset owners, consultants, subcontractors).
• Work with engineers and design teams to shape technical solutions that meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with estimating to develop tailored proposals and project-ready scopes for complex bids.
• Review project scope to ensure practical, compliant, fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Manage opportunities from lead to close, including client meetings and site visits.
• Maintain CRM activity and reporting for executive visibility.
