Job summary

Siemens Australia & New Zealand is seeking a commercially driven Business Development – Data Centres LV to grow the Low Voltage business across ANZ. You will identify opportunities, build strategic relationships with customers, consultants, contractors and switchboard builder partners, and influence projects from early stages.

The role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne, and you’ll work with sales, product management and technology teams to deliver LV solutions, supported by Siemens’ global

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the data centre market, including critical power infrastructure and LV distribution.
• Experience in business development, project sales or technical sales within electrical infrastructure.
• Ability to build relationships with senior customers, consultants, contractors, distributors and internal stakeholders.
• Customer-focused and commercially minded with the ability to turn opportunities into meaningful project outcomes.
• Strong communication, influencing, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Experience with CRM systems, forecasting, pipeline management and structured project tracking is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth by owning the Low Voltage data centre growth strategy and pursuing opportunities.
• Develop understanding of the ANZ data centre landscape, market trends and customer requirements.
• Enable partners by strengthening their capability to design, quote, build, test and support LV solutions.
• Build trusted relationships with data centre owners, operators, consultants, contractors, distributors and partners.
• Identify major opportunities early and influence specifications and commercial strategies.
• Collaborate across Siemens sales, product management, technical support, supply chain and global data centre teams.
• Represent Siemens at industry events, customer meetings and partner workshops.
• Maintain visibility of pipeline, forecasting and partner engagement.
