Jones Retail Group, a leader in IGA supermarkets, seeks a highly experienced Store Manager for IGA Manly Village. You will run day-to-day operations, lead a large team, and drive exceptional customer service while achieving store KPIs in a vibrant community setting.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and operates 365 days a year, with a focus on presenting a warm, welcoming store and ensuring the team delivers outstanding service and value-added offerings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years supermarket retail management experience.

• Proven ability to lead large teams and drive KPIs.

Jones Retail Group, leaders in IGA supermarkets are seeking a highly experienced supermarket retail professional to join our vibrant team. The role:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of IGA Manly Village which operates 365 days a year. As Store Manager you will be at the forefront of the business and you'll take pride in delivering a store that is warm and welcoming for our team, customers, and community members. You'll ensure your store is well presented and your team provides excellent customer service all whilst meeting your key KPIs in store such as sales, gross profit, wages, and loss.

Your key responsibilities:

• Inspire, lead, coach, and develop a large team
• Nurture a culture of support, customer focus, career progression, community involvement, and FUN!
• Care passionately about leading a culture of safety for our team and customers
• Ensure that KPI's are met and exceeded such as sales, gross profit, wages, and loss
• Inspire customers by ensuring visual merchandising and food safety standards are met
• Act with pace while ensuring outstanding quality of service and products
• Collaboratively oversee rostering, production and delivery logistics across our value-added range

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Proven supermarket retail management experience, minimum 5 years
• Previous experience in managing a large format supermarket and fresh department management
• Experience managing large teams
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively delegate tasks
• Well-developed customer service and communication skills
• Strong, inspirational leadership skills, be passionate about your team and all things retail
• Love of staff development!! Motivated to train and upskill your team
• Proactive attitude with the ability to react and adapt quickly
• Strong administration and financial analysis ability
• Visual merchandising skills to lead a team
• Confidence in a large stock operation
• Confident attitude with a respectful and warm approach
• The ability to work a Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday roster
• Australian work rights required for this position
