Job summary

Universal Store in Sydney seeks an experienced Assistant Store Manager ready to step into a Store Manager role. You will own a store, lead a passionate team and drive customer experience and commercial success.

You’ll develop future leaders, manage day‑to‑day operations, rostering, budgets and merchandising while upholding the brand's values across a busy retail environment on a Tuesday–Saturday roster including late-night trade.

Qualifications

• Strong retail background with hands‑on experience across shop floor and stockroom.
• Proven experience as a Store Manager leading medium to large teams.
• A warm, energetic communicator who leads with positivity and purpose.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• High attention to detail with a strong understanding of retail profitability.
• Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Confident in delivering feedback and communicating effectively at all levels.
