Job summary

Koko Black Chocolate is seeking an inspiring Store Manager for our Como, South Yarra location. You will lead day-to-day operations, drive commercial performance and cultivate a high-performing team that delivers the premium Koko Black customer experience.

Bring a hands-on leadership style, a passion for people development and a commitment to exceptional customer service in a fast-paced premium retail setting. Weekend and peak trading availability is required to ensure store success.

Qualifications

• Previous Store Manager experience or strong Assistant Store Manager experience with readiness to take the next step.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing retail teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and confidence managing sales, budgets, labour and store performance.
• Genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Hands-on leadership style with ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in premium retail, hospitality or a customer-focused environment is advantageous.

Your Role as Store Manager

As our Store Manager at Como, you'll take ownership of the store's day-to-day operations, commercial performance and team culture.

You'll be a hand‑on leader who inspires your team, creates an engaging environment and ensures every customer receives the exceptional Koko Black experience we're known for.

• Lead and inspire – create a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture
• Coach and develop – recruit, train and support your team to grow their skills and confidence
• Drive commercial performance – take ownership of sales targets, budgets, labour and key performance indicators

• Own store operations – oversee rostering, stock management, inventory, compliance and daily store performance
• Maintain premium standards – ensure exceptional visual merchandising, product presentation and store cleanliness

About You

We're Looking For Someone Who Brings
