Job summary

Biggz Desserts is seeking an experienced, confident Store Manager to lead the busy dessert shop in Toukley, NSW. You will run the shop with minimal owner supervision, combining hands-on leadership with administration and team management.

This full-time role includes evenings and weekends, a company laptop, and direct communication with the business owner to drive performance and growth.

Qualifications

• Extensive hospitality management experience.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
• Strong rostering, recruitment and staff management skills.
• Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.

Responsibilities

• Independently oversee day-to-day store operations.
• Lead, recruit, train, motivate and manage staff performance.
• Create and manage rosters, staffing levels and labour costs.
• Oversee staff performance reviews, workplace issues and disciplinary procedures.
• Manage stock ordering, inventory, suppliers and wastage.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards.
• Conduct internal inspections and document procedures.
• Monitor sales, expenses, and profitability.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally.
• Work with the team during service to maintain product quality.
• Provide regular performance reports to the business owner.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service.
