Job summary

Godiva Australia is seeking a Store Manager for our Castle Towers store. You will lead with an owner’s mindset, drive sales and profitability, coach a high-performing team and deliver an exceptional chocolate retail experience.

You’ll understand local opportunities, manage rosters, costs and inventory, and partner with our leadership team to grow the business while upholding the Godiva brand values across the store. Availability for weekends and public holidays is required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in a management or senior leadership role within retail, hospitality or another customer-focused environment.
• A genuine passion for customers, people and building a successful business.
• A commercial mindset with a strong interest in sales, profitability and business performance.
• A proven ability to drive sales, service and operational results.
• Confidence leading, coaching and developing people.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and operational discipline.
• Experience with rostering, labour management and inventory control.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• The confidence to bring forward ideas, challenge the status quo and take responsibility for outcomes.
• A desire to learn, develop and take on greater responsibility over time.
• Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of your store’s performance, with accountability for sales, profitability, people and customer experience
• Lead from the front and bring the Godiva brand, values and customer experience to life every day
• Understand the commercial drivers of your business and turn opportunities into action
• Drive sales growth through conversion, average transaction value, repeat customers and local opportunities
• Build, coach and develop a high-performing team that takes pride in achieving results together
• Develop your team into passionate chocolate experts who confidently share the Godiva story
• Maximise profitability through effective labour planning, cost management, inventory control and sales growth
• Oversee daily operations including rostering, inventory, stock integrity, visual merchandising and waste management
• Identify challenges early, take initiative and continuously look for better ways of working
• Recruit, onboard, develop and retain talented team members
• Ensure the boutique is always immaculate, inviting and representative of a premium global brand
