Job summary

Metcash Limited is seeking a hands-on Store Manager for our Woodridge store in Queensland. You will lead a seasoned team, drive sales to trade customers, manage stock, deliveries and day-to-day operations while ensuring safety and excellent service.

This role requires a proactive, front-line leader who coaches staff and builds strong customer relationships. You will oversee inventory accuracy, stock control and performance monitoring, with a focus on growth, efficiency and presenting a top-tier

Qualifications

• Previous Store Manager, Branch Manager or Trade Centre leadership experience
• Experience within timber, hardware, building supplies or trade environments
• Proven success driving sales, customer growth and business performance
• Strong inventory management, stock control and operational skills
• A hands-on leadership style and willingness to lead from the front
• Excellent people leadership, communication and commercial acumen

We're looking for a hands-on and commercially minded Store Manager to lead our Woodridge store.

This isn't your typical retail management role. Woodridge is a trade-focused site supporting builders, tradies and commercial customers, with a strong focus on deliveries, stock management and customer relationships. You will be working on a Monday to Friday roster and leading a team of experienced and long-tenured employees. You'll be the type of leader who enjoys being on the floor, supporting customers, driving sales and working alongside the team to get the job done.
