Job summary

SA Health’s Southern Adelaide Local Health Network seeks a Sterilisation Services Manager at Flinders Medical Centre to lead a high‑quality reprocessing team. You will oversee daily operations, drive safety and quality improvements, and support clinical staff in delivering reliable sterilisation services.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager Sterilisation Services, you will manage staffing, rosters, and resource use to meet timelines while upholding NSQHS and AS/NZS5369:2023 standards.

Qualifications

Certificate III Sterilisation Technology qualification.
Significant experience in sterilisation practices and AS/NZS5369:2023 and NSQHS.
Experience in rostering and staff management.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day leadership and ensure efficient utilisation of resources.
Coordinate staffing levels and undertake recruitment/induction activities.
Develop rosters and staffing plans for the unit.
Ensure compliance with AS/NZS5369:2023 and NSQHS in sterilisation services.
