Job summary

Flinders Private Hospital is seeking an experienced CSSD Supervisor to lead the CSSD department and collaborate with theatre staff to ensure safe, efficient sterile processing.

The role requires 3–5 years CSSD experience, Certificate III Sterilisation (Cert IV in progress), strong leadership and communication, and proficiency with Word, Excel and documentation. Knowledge of AS5369 GENCA and ACORN standards is essential. You will support infection control and WHS compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational management of the CSSD department and streamline flow.
• Maintain high CSSD practice standards and compliance.
• Identify, assess and manage risks within the unit.
• Adhere to ACHA Health policies and work with theatre staff.
• Manage infection control and WHS issues to ensure safety.
• Ensure equipment and consumables are functional and available; allocate staff and resources.
