Job summary

St Andrews War Memorial Hospital is seeking a CSSD Team Leader to coordinate the Sterilisation Team and oversee reprocessing of all reusable medical devices for operating theatres, clinical areas and external customers. The role requires at least 2 years of CSSD experience, Certificate 3 in Sterilisation Technology, strong customer service and leadership skills, and knowledge of Australian Standard 5369.

Vaccinations and background checks are required, with opportunities to lead quality

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in CSSD sterilisation
• Certificate 3 in Sterilisation Technology required
• Strong customer service and leadership abilities
• Sound knowledge of Australian Standard 5369 for reprocessing

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Sterilisation department shift activities
• Coordinate reprocessing of all reusable medical devices
• Support training and competency of staff in equipment use
• Act as sterilising consultant to staff on technology
• Assist with HR related processes and rostering
