Job summary

Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital within Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District is seeking a Sterilisation Services Educator to shape staff capability through education, in-house training and ongoing development. You will support competency, maintain training resources, and work with the Sterilisation Services Manager to ensure standards are met.

The role supports a new department in our redeveloped Acute Services Building, contributing to high-quality perioperative care and a culture of learning

Qualifications

• Current experience in Sterilisation Services in an acute hospital setting.
• Experience with Loan and Endoscope reprocessing is preferred.
• Ability to develop and maintain training resources and records.

Responsibilities

• Shape staff capability through education, in-house training and development.
• Assess education needs and ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
• Develop and deliver meaningful staff education and competency programs.
