Job summary

The Kypreos Group (including State Asphalt Services) invites applications for an HR Truck Driver to join the Spray Seal/Crack Seal team. This permanent role offers standard day shifts Monday–Friday or night shifts Sunday–Thursday, with potential weekend work and regional travel to client sites.

Applicants should hold an HR license, have 6–12 months driving experience, and possess a White Card. A pre-employment medical including drug/alcohol testing is required, with a strong emphasis on safety

• Knowledge of fatigue management and load restraint is desirable.

Job description

The Kypreos Group which includes State Asphalt Services has operated within the Civil Construction industry for over 50 years and is still owned and operated by the founding family members.

We are looking to recruit HR Truck drivers to join our Spray Seal/Crack Seal team.

The Role:

A permanent role.

Standard workdays Monday – Friday (day shift) or Sunday -Thursday (night shift) with weekend or night work as necessary to meet client requirements. The role may involve some regional travel.

Available for immediate commencement.

Role Requirements:

Possess previous experience in operating a spreader truck (desirable).

Possess HR license.

Minimum of 6-12 months driving experience with an HR license is required.

General Construction Induction Card – White Card.

Be expected to successfully pass a pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol test.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, fit, energetic, and able to work in a team environment.

Possess a strong commitment to safety.

Be able to work flexible hours to meet operational requirements which may include night and weekend shifts and regional travel as and when required by client schedules.

Be self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic.

Australian work rights are required for this position.

Knowledge of Chain of Responsibly compliance requirements including fatigue management, speed compliance, mass, load restraint systems to ensure compliance with our regulatory obligations.

Wage:

An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with experience.

Regular overtime is available, with additional allowances for night and weekend works and regional travel.
