Alex Fraser Asphalt is seeking a motivated Spray Seal Spreader Driver to join the AFA Spray Seal team in Narangba, QLD, with work across greater Brisbane. The role involves outdoor sealing projects, operating sealing machinery, and supporting preparation and application of asphalt surfaces.

Candidates should have a strong work ethic, be able to lift heavy materials, hold a valid driver's license (HC advantageous, HR required), and commit to safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in asphalt work or construction is an advantage but not required.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
• Basic understanding of safety practices in construction.
• Valid driver’s license.
• HC licence is advantageous, HR is required.

Spray Seal Spreader Driver

Alex Fraser Asphalt is a progressive asphalt provider servicing commercial and residential customers across south-east Queensland. We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated professional to join the AFA Spray Seal team as aSeal Driver located in Narangba, QLD , with jobs in and around the greater Brisbane area.

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Speader Driver to assist in various sealing projects throughout the Brisbane area. This role involves working outdoors and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and sealing of asphalt surfaces.

• Operate machinery and tools related to asphalt sealing.

• Truck spotting.

• Follow instructions from supervisors and work as part of a team.

• Maintain a clean and organized worksite.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

What we offer:

• Base hourly rate from $32, pending experience, plus penalty rates, plus super.

• Working 8 – 12-hour shifts. Day shift 6am – 6pm, night shift 6pm – 6am.
