Job summary

Central Coast Council NSW is seeking a Crew Member Driver to join the Spray Sealing Crew. You will help deliver the Spray Sealing Program as part of the Road Treatment and Capital Works initiatives, ensuring efficient operations and high safety standards.

The role requires a HR licence, safety accreditations, and proven experience with sealing equipment. Based at ErinaDepot, with a 9‑day fortnight and a salary up to $73.5k with potential progression to $85.2k plus 12% super.

Qualifications

• Current Class HR Drivers Licence.
• Current Safework White Card (general construction induction card) or equivalent.
• Current SafeWork accreditation to Implement Traffic Control Plans (IMP).
• Current SafeWork accreditation as a Traffic Controller (TCR).
• Current NSW Dangerous Goods Licence.
• Demonstrated experience in the operation of the spreader truck front end loader, street sweeper and multi-tyred rollers.
• Knowledge of road safety signage and safety procedures relevant to construction work.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Spray Sealing Crew to deliver Council's Spray Sealing Program.
• Provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
• Operate and support road sealing operations with safety as a priority.

About the role

The role of the Crew Member Driver is to work as part of the Spray Sealing Crew, and to be responsible for the efficient delivery of Council's Spray Sealing Program. This program is part of the Road Treatment Program and Council's Capital Works Program. Sealing works will also be undertaken for other sections of Council and external contractors, when required.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current Class HR Drivers Licence
• Current Safework White Card (general construction induction card) or equivalent
• Current SafeWork accreditation to Implement Traffic Control Plans (IMP)
• Current SafeWork accreditation as a Traffic Controller (TCR)
• Current NSW Dangerous Goods License
• Demonstrated experience in the operation of a spreader truck front end loader, street sweeper and multi-tyred rollers.
• Knowledge of road safety signage and safety procedures relevant to construction work

The commencing salary for this position is up to $73.5K. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $85.2K on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation
