Job summary

WorkPac in Townsville, Queensland is looking for a Sprayer Driver to operate bitumen sprayer trucks on asphalt and roadwork projects. The role requires a current HC licence and prior truck driving experience.

You will perform pre-starts and safety checks, operate spraying equipment to meet application rates and coverage, and coordinate with crews on site. Weekly pay and access to WorkPac benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Current HC Licence is required.
• Previous truck driving experience is required.
• Dangerous Goods ticket is required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends and overtime.

About the Client

What you will be doing

As a Sprayer Driver you will be responsible for the below duties:

Operate and drive bitumen sprayer trucks across asphalt and roadwork projects

Complete vehicle pre-starts, inspections and safety checks

Operate spraying equipment to achieve required application rates and coverage

Coordinate with asphalt crews, operators and supervisors on site

Assist with equipment cleaning, basic maintenance and general site duties

What you will need

To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:

Current HC Licence

Previous truck driving experience

Dangerous Goods ticket

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening

Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance
