Job summary

Hussey & Co, a growing agribusiness in Newry, seeks a Spray Operator to join our team. You will operate tractors and spray equipment, perform daily checks, and help maintain data and machinery.

We value resilience, flexibility, and a hands-on approach. A current chemical licence or willingness to obtain one, and basic English communication skills are preferred; shift work may be required.

Job description

Our growing agribusiness, located in Newry is renowned for producing Australia's finest gourmet baby leaf salad mixes. We currently have an opportunity for aSpray Operator to join our Hussey & Co family.

We are seeking someone who is resilient and able to adapt to a constantly evolving environment and had the ability to be flexible depending on operational demands. High energy levels, personal resilience and the ability to think on your feet will be critical for success.

Reporting directly to the Crop Care Manager, this position requires the successful applicant to have knowledge and experience or willingness to learn in crop spraying.

Pay Rate: Dependant on experience - Hussey & Co pay above the Horticulture Award rates and overtime.

Key Responsibilities:
