Job summary

Costa Group is seeking a motivated Tractor Spray Operator for our Berry Farm in Dunorlan, Tasmania. You will safely operate tractors and spray units on berry crops, perform routine maintenance and keep accurate records.

Training is provided; night shifts may be required and shifts are casual/seasonal depending on weather and demand. Applicants should have a valid driver's licence, experience with machinery, and good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractors and spray units for berry crops.
• Operate slashing and mulching equipment.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and preventative maintenance.
• Prepare spray mixtures including insecticides, fungicides and herbicides.
• Wear and maintain PPE and clean equipment.
• Maintain spray records and equipment logs.
• Assist with calibration of equipment and machinery.
• Work flexible shifts including day and night shifts.

We are currently seeking a motivated andreliable Tractor Spray Operator to join our Maintenance Team at ourBerry Farm in Dunorlan, Tasmania.

About theRole

This is a fantastic opportunity to developyour skills in a supportive agricultural environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Safely operating tractors and spray units for the accurateapplication of approved sprays to berry crops
• Operating slashing and mulching equipment
• Conducting routine equipment checks and preventative maintenance
• Preparing spray mixtures, including insecticides, fungicides, andherbicides, in accordance with procedures
• Wearing and maintaining appropriate Personal Protective Equipment(PPE)
• Cleaning and washing down machinery to required standards
• Maintaining accurate spray records, equipment logs, and stocktakedocumentation
• Assisting with the calibration of equipment and machinery
• Working flexible shifts, including day and night shiftoperations as required

Work is available on a casual basis and isdependent on seasonal demands and weather conditions.

All employees willreceive full training relevant to their role and duties. In some cases, a WorkHealth and Safety (WHS) assessment may also be required to ensure employees cansafely perform the duties of the role.

About You

To be successful in this role, you willideally have:

• A current driver's licence
