Job summary

Graincott Farming near Dalby, Queensland, is looking for a Lead Spray Rig Operator to take charge of our spraying program on a family-run farm.

Operate and maintain our near-new Hagie and Miller spray rigs, focusing on WeedSeeker weed control, while performing general farm duties and occasional truck work.

We offer a $145,000 package including house, work ute, 5 weeks holidays, modern equipment and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining spray rigs.
• Ability to start early and work well in a small team.
• Truck licence is beneficial but not required.

We're a family-run irrigated and dryland cotton and grain farm near Dalby looking for a Lead Spray Rig Operator to take charge of our spraying program. If you take pride in well-maintained machinery and doing the job properly, we'd like to hear from you.

The role

Operate and maintain our near-new Hagie and Miller spray rig

• Mainly WeedSeeker spraying and weed control work
• General farm duties as required
• Truck operation as required

What we're looking for

• Experience operating and maintaining spray rigs
• Someone who genuinely enjoys early starts
• A truck licence isn't necessary, but it's seen as an advantage
• Reliable, hands-on and comfortable working as part of a small team
