Job summary

Agromillora Australia is seeking a casual Chemical Spray Operator to join our team on an as-needed basis in Victoria. The role involves safe chemical applications to support pest, disease, foliar and weed management programs, with an anticipated workload of about 15–20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pest and disease management activities across the nursery and mother block.

• Accurately record all chemical use in spray diaries.

About the Role

We are seeking a casual Chemical Spray Operator to join our team on an as‑needed basis, with an anticipated workload of approximately 15–20 hours per week. Hours may vary depending on seasonal conditions, spray requirements and operational needs.

You’ll play a key role in the nursery’s pest, disease, foliar and weed management programs, working closely with the Operations Team to ensure our plants are protected and healthy through safe and effective chemical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out pest and disease management activities across the nursery and mother block.
• Perform foliar and weed control according to spray schedules.
• Ensure all spraying and handling of chemicals meet OHS and company safety standards.
• Maintain, calibrate and safely operate spray equipment and machinery.
• Accurately record all chemical use in spray diaries.

About You

You are a hands‑on, safety-focused professional who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining high‑quality nursery standards.

This is a casual, as‑needed position, with approximately 15–20 hours per week anticipated, although hours may fluctuate according to seasonal and operational requirements. The role would suit an experienced agricultural or horticultural worker looking for flexible, casual hours, including someone who may be transitioning from full‑time work or looking to remain active in the industry.

Given the nature of our industry, you must also be willing to occasionally work outside normal business hours and on weekends where necessary.
