Job summary

Avina is a national allied health and behaviour support organisation with 400+ clinicians across NSW, QLD, VIC and SA. We’re seeking a Speech Pathologist to join the Outer Sydney team, delivering services across Liverpool, Campbelltown and surrounding suburbs in a mobile, community-based role.

You’ll work with clients where therapy has the greatest impact—at home, in schools and in everyday environments—while staying connected to a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology.
• Current Speech Pathology Australia membership or eligibility.
• Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for regular community travel.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning and organisational skills.
• A collaborative, person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-informed Speech Pathology services across a varied caseload.
• Support clients with communication, language, social communication and mealtime goals.
• Work predominantly within home, school and community environments.
• Collaborate with families, carers, educators and other allied health clinicians.
• Manage your own schedule while remaining connected to your local team.
• Participate in regular supervision, peer learning and professional development.

Job description

At Avina, we’re a national allied health and behaviour support organisation with 400+ clinicians across NSW, QLD, VIC and SA.

We’re looking for a Speech Pathologist to join our Outer Sydney team, supporting clients across areas including Liverpool, Campbelltown and surrounding suburbs.

This is a mobile, community-based role, giving you the opportunity to work with clients where therapy can have the greatest impact — in their homes, schools and everyday environments. While you’ll have autonomy out in the community, you’ll still be connected to an experienced multidisciplinary team, with regular supervision, peer support and opportunities to collaborate.

We also aim to keep caseloads geographically aligned where possible, helping to make travel practical and your working day sustainable.

About the Role

We’re open to Speech Pathologists at different stages of their career, from early career clinicians through to experienced Speech Pathologists looking for greater flexibility and development.
