Job summary

Avina is actively seeking Speech Pathologists to join our national multidisciplinary team. The role supports clients across home, school, clinic and community settings with evidence-based, person-centred services.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology.
• Current Speech Pathology Australia membership (or eligibility).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle for community work.
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning and organisational skills.
• A collaborative and person-centred approach to therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and deliver evidence-informed intervention across home, school, clinic and community settings.
• Support clients across the lifespan with communication, language, social communication and mealtime goals.
• Develop functional, goal-based therapy plans aligned with participant needs and funding pathways.
• Collaborate closely with families, carers, educators and multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage a varied caseload across community, clinic and/or telehealth settings.
• Participate in supervision, peer collaboration and ongoing professional development opportunities.
