Job summary

Avina is a national allied health and behaviour support organisation delivering Speech Pathology across community and clinic settings. We’re seeking a Mid Career Speech Pathologist to join our Elizabeth Vale team in SA, open to full-time or part-time work with a paediatric-heavy caseload and some regional travel.

You’ll work in a genuinely multidisciplinary team with regular supervision, flexible working arrangements and real opportunities for professional development and career progression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Speech Pathology.
• SPA membership and CPSP preferred.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and WWC, or willingness to obtain.
• Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle for community work.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred Speech Pathology services across home, school, clinic and community settings.
• Complete assessments, intervention planning and ongoing therapy.
• Support participants across communication and/or mealtime/dysphagia presentations.
• Participate in a FIFO/DIDO roster to support regional SA communities, with travel and accommodation covered.
• Collaborate with families, carers, educators and the broader multidisciplinary team.
• Take part in regular supervision, peer collaboration and professional development.

About the Role

We're looking for a Mid Career Speech Pathologist to join our Elizabeth Vale team, servicing the surrounding area. Open to full-time and part-time.

We find our caseloads here typically lean heavily paediatric, with a smaller adult component. You'll be part of a genuinely multidisciplinary team, working alongside OT and Behaviour Support colleagues.

You may also participate in a FIFO/DIDO roster to support regional SA communities, with travel and accommodation covered where required.

What You'll Bring

• Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership, CPSP preferred
