Job summary

National 360 Cairns is seeking a Speech Pathologist to manage a diverse caseload across language, swallowing, dysphagia and paediatrics, with options for community visits, telehealth and clinic sessions.

You will work in a supportive multidisciplinary team, receiving regular supervision, PD and clear career progression while enjoying work-life balance and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
  • SPA registration holder or applicant.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload tailored to interests (language, swallowing, dysphagia, paediatrics or generalist).
  • Deliver services via community visits, telehealth and clinic sessions.
  • Receive regular supervision, development and career progression support.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary Cairns team of OTs and Speech Pathologists.
  • Motivate and empower clients; NDIS experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Participate in team social events and maintain a positive workplace culture.

About The Role
  • Manage a caseload tailored to your interests, whether that’s language, swallowing, ACC, dysphagia, paediatrics or a diverse generalist mix through community visits, telehealth, and clinic sessions.
  • Enjoy flexibility in setting your appointments, working from home and joining the team in the Cairns office.
  • Receive regular supervision, professional development, and career progression support with a strong focus on work-life balance.
  • Collaborate with a passionate multidisciplinary Cairns team of occupational therapists and speech pathologists dedicated to making a real community impact.
  • Use your clinical skills to motivate and empower clients; NDIS experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Take part in team social events, lunches, and celebrations to build connections and enjoy a positive workplace culture.
About You
  • You hold a relevant Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and hold or have applied for your SPA registration.
  • You have full Australian working rights (or pending).
  • Whether you’re just starting your career or have years of experience, we welcome applicants with an interest in community, private, or acute settings.
  • You have access to your own vehicle and hold a current driver’s licence.
  • You have or are willing to obtain a NDIS Workers Check and Blue Card.
