Job summary

National 360 in Tasmania is seeking a Clinical Practice Advisor (Speech Pathology) to lead clinical excellence and support therapists across the growing team. You will maintain a small caseload aligned with your interests and provide guidance to other Speech Pathologists while helping develop national resources.

You will deliver supervision and education, review policies, collaborate with the National Clinical Lead and Local Leadership Team, and contribute to service growth and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Speech Pathology required.
  • SPA registration required.
  • Proven ability to deliver Speech Therapy directly to clients with an independent caseload.

Responsibilities

Start your new role as a Clinical Practice Advisor with National 360 in Tasmania! Use your clinical expertise to guide and empower our Speech Pathology team.

About The Role

We are seeking a passionate Speech Pathologist to step into a Clinical Practice Advisor role, driving clinical excellence and supporting therapists across our growing teams. You will maintain a small caseload aligned with your key area(s) of interest and provide guidance and support to other Speech Pathologist at National 360 while contributing to the development of national resources.

As a Clinical Practice Advisor, a typical day may involve:

  • Providing 1:1 and group clinical supervision to Speech Pathologist of all levels locally.
  • Delivering educational sessions to Speech Pathologist of all levels nationally.
  • Co-working complex cases with early career therapists.
  • Reviewing and developing policies, procedures, forms and templates.
  • Reviewing reports and providing meaningful feedback to improve quality outcomes.
  • Providing SP services to a small caseload of clients in either a generalist or tailored capacity.
  • Collaborating closely with the National Clinical Lead and Local Leadership Team to help drive service excellence, foster team development, and contribute to the continued growth and innovation of our services.
  • Participating in clinical auditing and support complaint resolution where required.
  • Attending team meetings and events that build connection and support a positive, inclusive culture.

About You
  • Relevant bachelor or masters degree in Speech Pathology.
  • 5+ years experience as a Speech Pathologist.
  • SPA registration.
  • Proven ability to deliver Speech Therapy directly to clients as part of an independent caseload.
  • Experience supervising, coaching, and mentoring Speech Pathologists of varying experience levels.
  • Strong knowledge of the disability, health, and aged care sectors, including NDIS and community-based settings.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with neurodivergent clients and passion for neuroaffirming care.
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Access to your own vehicle and a current driver's licence.
  • You have or are willing to obtain a NDIS Workers Check and Working with Children Check.
