Job summary

National 360’s Geelong team is seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist to mentor emerging clinicians, strengthen best practice, and contribute to a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

You will manage a flexible caseload across language, swallowing, paediatrics and dysphagia, with options for clinic, community visits and telehealth. The role offers supervision, PD, and a clear pathway for career progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
  • Current SPA Registration (or pending).
  • Full Australian working rights (or pending).
  • Minimum 3+ years experience in community/private/acute settings.
  • Access to own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
  • NDIS Workers Check and Working With Children Check (if applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload aligned with your interests across language, swallowing, dysphagia, paediatrics, or a generalist mix.
  • Work from home and attend Geelong office as needed.
  • Provide supervision and career development support within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech pathologists and behaviour support practitioners.
  • Supervise speech pathologists and university students.
  • Contribute to team growth through senior meetings and initiatives.

Join National 360’s Geelong team as a Senior Speech Pathologist and play a key role in mentoring emerging speech pathologists, strengthening best practice in service delivery, and contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

About The Role
  • Manage a caseload aligned with your interests, whether that’s language, swallowing, ACC, dysphagia, paediatrics, or a varied generalist mix across community visits, telehealth, and clinic sessions.
  • Enjoy flexibility in setting your appointments, working from home and joining the team in the Geelong office.
  • Receive regular supervision, professional development, and career progression support with a strong focus on work-life balance.
  • Collaborate with a passionate multidisciplinary team of occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and behaviour support practitioners dedicated to making a real community impact.
  • Use your clinical skills to motivate and empower clients; NDIS experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Play an active role in senior team meetings and initiatives that encourage growth and team development.
  • Provide clinical supervision to speech pathologist and university students, sharing your expertise and nurturing new talent.
  • Participate in team social events, lunches, and celebrations, fostering connection, a positive workplace culture, and the occasional coffee run on office days.

About You
  • You hold a relevant Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
  • You have current SPA Registration (or pending).
  • You have full Australian working rights (or pending).
  • You have a minimum of 3 + years experience in community, private or acute settings.
  • You have access to your own vehicle and hold a current driver’s licence.
  • You have or willing to obtain a NDIS Workers Check and Working With Children Check.
