Job summary

Boomaroo Nurseries is seeking a Sales & Business Development Manager to lead Southern States sales across VIC, SA and TAS. You’ll nurture established grower relationships, win new business and guide the regional sales team to deliver long-term value and profitability.

You’ll leverage deep knowledge of vegetable seedlings to anticipate customer needs, shape territory strategy and collaborate with production and technical teams to bring innovative solutions to market.

Qualifications

• Extensive vegetable industry experience with seedling crops.
• Proven key account management with large-scale growers.
• Track record in business development and winning new customers.
• Sales leadership and regional team coaching.
• Strong pricing, forecasting, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Retain and nurture key accounts across Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
• Grow existing customer partnerships and introduce new crops and products.
• Win new business with commercial growers and emerging markets.
• Lead and coach the regional sales team to balance retention and growth.
• Shape territory strategy using market insights and industry trends.
• Deliver profitable results through targets, margins, pricing, and forecasts.
• Collaborate with nursery, production and technical teams to address customer needs.
