Job summary

Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our Kitchen Team. You will work closely with the Head Chef, leading the kitchen brigade, delivering high-quality dishes across La Boca Restaurant & Bar, banquets, Room Service and other outlets.

This hands-on role focuses on food quality, presentation, consistency, and cost control while ensuring top hygiene standards and a safe kitchen environment. Experience with charcoal or wood-fire cooking is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kitchen brigades in high-volume hotels or restaurants.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, hygiene and WHS requirements.
• Proven ability to train, motivate and develop kitchen teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef with daily kitchen operations across multiple outlets.
• Lead, coach and support the kitchen brigade to stay motivated and efficient.
• Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes per Stamford standards and recipes.
