Job summary

Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour is seeking a Commis Chef to join the culinary team across Atelier, Club Millésime, Le Rivage, Breakfast, In-Room Dining, Esprit Noir and Champagne Bar. You will support preparation, cooking and presentation to Sofitel standards, maintaining a clean workstation and following HACCP guidelines.

You bring a Certificate in Commercial Cookery, previous kitchen experience, and a passion for food.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• Experience in a commercial, hotel or restaurant kitchen is preferred.
• Passion for food and developing culinary skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, cooking and presentation of dishes across our Culinary outlets.
• Maintain a clean, organised workstation and follow HACCP procedures.
• Support kitchen operations during busy service periods.
