Job summary

Splunk is seeking a Software Engineer for the Product Sizing and Packaging team in Australia. You will size infrastructures and design architectures to optimally meet customer workloads for Splunk Enterprise Cloud, while building internal/external apps and services and contributing to on-call rotations to minimize downtime.

You will collaborate with product owners and designers to deliver new features and APIs, and build backend systems that convert subscription details into deployment inputs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with relevant backend focus.
• Proficiency with Go or Python and modern backend ecosystems.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Create and oversee development of features and APIs for customers.
• Build backend systems turning subscription details into cloud infrastructure recommendations.
• Simplify complex tasks into manageable steps.
• Refine tools and processes to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Engage with the team in design discussions and code reviews.
• Participate in on-call rotation to resolve critical incidents.
