Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) in Sydney is seeking a candidate to join the Business Solutions team to support indigenous entrepreneurs and communities. The role focuses on guiding customers through readiness assessments and development pathways into viable businesses, leveraging networks and partnerships to unlock resources.

• Cultural capability and experience working respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities or organisations.
• Experience in business lending, lending policy or risk management.
• Experience related to business management or entrepreneurship.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work independently and interact effectively with stakeholders.
• Build and manage networks of stakeholders, partnerships, and external resources.
• Work with customers to assess business readiness and develop development pathways.
• Provide guidance and linkages to resources to support customers' development of business capabilities.

• Build and manage networks of stakeholders, working partnerships and external resources to identify and build a pipeline of potential customers who are aspiring, start-up or existing business operators.
• Work closely with customers to assess their business readiness and establish a development pathway into business.
• Provide guidance and linkages to resources that support customers' development of personal characteristics, capabilities, industry knowledge and understanding of the principles of business, necessary to establish and operate a viable business.
