Job summary

Indigenous Business Australia is seeking a proactive, relationship-focused professional to understand its customer base, build networks with stakeholders, and identify a pipeline of aspiring and existing business operators. The role involves evaluating loan applications and guiding customers toward viable business development paths.

You will work with the Credit Assessment Team, review financial statements, and maintain timely, high-quality customer communication to support development outcomes.

Qualifications

• Develop professional understanding of the customer base.
• Build networks of stakeholders and external resources.
• Identify and build a pipeline of aspiring, start-up or existing business operators.
• Develop commercial credit submissions to the Credit Assessment Team.
• Review applications for business loans to ensure they meet IBA standards.
• Analyse and interpret customers’ financial statements.
• Meet with customers to assess readiness and establish development pathways.
• Analyse customer requirements and manage communication for timely, high-level service.
• Provide guidance and linkages to resources supporting business development.
