Indigenous Business Australia is seeking a candidate for a role within the Business Solutions team. The position focuses on culturally appropriate engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities, leveraging lending and risk-management experience to support growth and development.

The role emphasizes building partnerships, guiding customers through readiness assessments and development pathways, and linking clients to resources to establish viable businesses.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated cultural capability with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities or organisations.
• Experience in business lending, lending policy or risk management.
• Experience related to business management.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work independently and interact effectively with stakeholders.
• Ability to build and manage networks of stakeholders and partners for customer pipelines.
• Ability to assess customer readiness and establish development pathways into business.
• Provide guidance and linkages to resources for developing business capabilities.

• Provide guidance and linkages to resources that support customers' development of personal characteristics, capabilities, industry knowledge and understanding of the principles of business, necessary to establish and operate a viable business.
