Job summary

Indigenous Business Australia is seeking a candidate for its Business Solutions team in Canberra. You will engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, assess business readiness, and develop development pathways. The role focuses on guidance, resources, and building partnerships to support aspiring and existing operators.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated cultural capability with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities or organisations.
• Experience in business lending, lending policy or risk management.
• Previous experience related to Business Management.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work independently and interact effectively with stakeholders.
• Build and manage networks of stakeholders, partnerships and resources to identify potential customers.
• Work closely with customers to assess business readiness and develop pathways.
• Provide guidance and linkages to resources supporting business development and capability growth.
